One month after the end of Farnborough the main Airshow of the year, it’s time to give you our feedback. Long preparation, plenty of opportunities a successfull.
Farnborough 2018 was the greatest and biggest airshow of the year. It reunited top management, manufacturers and major actors of the industries from all over the world in the same area for one week. Our teams couldn’t miss such event! First, to follow-up when possible the open opportunities and the peoples involved in and secondly to discovered new opportunities for our Clients.Surfeo’s Objectives, 8 keys account managers on the show, with many goals. Meeting with Clients, meeting with customers, assistance on Clients’ booth, tour of the show for discovering new entrants, innovating solutions, potential customers, valuable program, new projects…the job was not easy for our team! In the other hand our own business development guy was looking for company with the will to invest in Surfeo services to quickly and efficiently conquer Aerospace market.
Successful show! more than 30 new opportunities of business for our Clients, 200 new contacts met during the week, But this success doesn’t come from nowhere. It is due to a very long and extensive preparation. During many months before the airshow our teams worked to book appointments on the show. The goal was to know who was planning to attend to the show and who was able to meet them to follow-up ongoing projects.
After the show? As Lea, Key Account Manager said, « Surfeo after show process is very well implemented ». Our teams gather all information collected. We issued all Minutes of Meetings and plan the follow-up, the actions to perform, the new opportunities to create, the new business development…, so all the usual sales stuff. But we are lucky, Surfeo CRM is a very powerful tools to support our strong activity.Surfeo team will attend to AIX Boston, NBAA in USA and MRO & Helitech in The Netherland. See you then!
