Defense, despite the public health crisis, is a sector that continues to bring new innovations and a source of regular investment. New agreements are worked on every day to accelerate the development of new programs. New projects are emerging and the market continues to grow.

The SU-57 on land at the end of 2024 :

Introduced for the first time in 2010 the Su-57. A fifth-generation Russian fighter designed to attack air, land and naval targets of all types.

The Russian Ministry of Defense first received the first fifth-generation Su-57 fighter produced in December 2020. In addition to the other four aircrafts of this type in 2021, the delivery rate of the Su-57 will be extended to a maximum of 15 per year. According to the contract signed in 2019, seventy-six Su-57s should be delivered before 2028..

The comeback of the MIG-35 :

Compared to the MIG-29, classified as a medium-size fighter, its takeoff weight has increased by 30%. With a new weapon system, such as the new AESA radar and the target indicator (OLS) it is able to perform all types of missions, and will be declined in 2 versions : A single seat will be offered under the MiG-35C trade name, and two seats will be sold under the MiG-35D trade name, depending on the mission and requirement.

In March 2020, Russia plans to offer a modernized MiG-35 fighter aircraft, adapted specifically for the Indian Army

New orders for the A400M :

Airbus Defence and Space is in discussions with Noursoultan (formerly Astana, the Kazakh capital) for an order of two A400Ms. Negotiations could be completed by next year.

It would complement the Kazakh national fleet of nine C-295s also manufactured by Airbus. Negotiations are scheduled to begin next year.

The Airbus military transport aircraft were an integral part of the KADEX show held in Noursoultan. The Royal Air Force’s A400M also proved its capabilities last September, with a group of test pilots from the aircraft manufacturers making the trip especially for this purpose.
