According to PwC’s « Industry 4.0 – Global Digital Operations Survey », a large proportion of global industrial companies have already implemented some of these new technologies, such as predictive maintenance (48%), manufacturing execution systems or MES (45%), integrated planning (44%) or IoT (42%).
In Europe, France is the leader in artificial intelligence with an implementation rate of 7% compared to 5% in Europe and 9% worldwide.
Today, global investments in the transformation of smart factories are estimated at nearly $400 billions over the next five years.
