Air travel is henceforth accessible, door-to-door, and efficient!
As if frustrations could be source of inspiration, Michal ILLICH, CEO of the start-up ZURI, after many delays to travel from Croatia to Czech republic, finally came out with a revolutionary concept: « region air mobility »
Meaning that air transportation enables passengers to travel between cities and regions with a speed of 700km/h.
VTOL aircraft is designed to be mid-range with up to 4 seats, flying according to personnalised schedule, with no airports (door-to-door concept) not to mention that it is hybrid powered aircraft. Such a differenciating factor allowing to save up to 25% on fuel.
As a matter of fact, high emissions are actually caused by the whole weight of aircrafts. Thus, providing smaller and efficient airplanes -eVTOL for instance- drives towards an eco-friendly travels perspective.
ILLICH then developped this concept by first providing several small prototypes to testify special competencies of this project. It began with lauching one-seater prototype, and reached recently the process of building its first experimental aircraft.
In need of industry- standards design applications, Zuri incorporates DASSAULT’s 3DEXPERIENCE, a product development plateform, a virtual experience to efficiently supply parts,produce design, and connect all the suppliers and stakeholders. Using the cloud version makes it easier for ZURI to provide the right tools while keeping costs lower.
