On behalf of a designer, manufacturer and supplier of advanced power conversion equipment, Surfeo identified an opportunity to retrofit a TRU power converter as part of an air freight aircraft modification on an aging fleet.

SURFEO assisted its customer on:

• Identification of technological issues
• Listing and qualification with a major European aircraft manufacturer
• The follow-up of the case in the prototyping phase and then for a serial production order
• Discussion about the conformity of the products with the new standards in force and the program concerned
• Realize the commercial interface
• Help in responding to calls for tenders
